The string of horses from Ballypatrick Stables performed superbly at the recent FEI WBFSH World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken, with Darragh Ryan and his two mounts Lackamore Storm and Boleybawn Actor jumping super clears in the opening qualifier for the six-year-olds to make the cut for the final. Darragh and Boleybawn Actor returned with just one error in the first round but Darragh made it into the very competitive jump-off with Lackamore Storm, where one fence kept him out of the main group. The final won by Irish rider Ger O’Neill and Columbcille Gypsy.
American student rider Adrienne Dixon had a show to remember when placing seventh in the seven-year-old final with Killossery Kaiden (see video below), winner of the six-year-old title in 2016. Adrienne has been based with Greg since the summer of 2016 and is enjoying a host of top results on the national and international circuits.
